Dr Liezl Kemp
Dr Liezl Kemp was born in Oudtshoorn as the daughter of one of the local dentists.
She started her studies at the University of Stellenbosch, where she took part in various cultural and sports activities and was appointed as the Head Student of her hostel in 2006.
After the University of Stellenbosch's amalgamation with the University of Western Cape, she completed her degree in 2007 and was also awarded a prize for her good work in the Department of Orthodontics.
She then went on to complete her community service at the SAMF's 3 Military Hospital in Bloemfontein, where she was in the fortunate position of getting exposure to various dental procedures (including full mouth rehabilitations, orthodontics and implants).
On the completion of her community service, she moved to Cape Town, and in 2013 she started Dr Liezl Kemp and Associates.

Dr Narges Shirzadi
Dentist
Dr Narges Shirzadi graduated from the University of Western Cape in 2017.
She completed her community service at Edendale Hospital in Pietermaritzburg, where she gained experience in general dentistry, trauma and pathology.
She has won multiple Senior Merit Bursary Awards including the award for Excellence in Research and an Academic Merit award for obtaining an average above 75% in her final year.
In 2017, Dr Shirzadi was invited to present her 2016 research study in San Francisco, USA, at the International Association of Dental Research’s Annual Meeting (IADR). She participated in the Bridge Program in 2018, where she completed a series of theoretical and practical courses, aimed at bridging the gap between university and private practice.
Dr Shirzadi is originally from Iran, but has been living in South Africa with her family for the past 15 years. She enjoys all disciplines of dentistry, but has a special interest in oral surgery, facial aesthetics and academic research.

Lecile du Plessis
Oral Hygienist
Lecile initially studied to become a Dental Assistant at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2003. Shortly thereafter, she began her career at a practice in Pretoria. It was during this time that her love for oral hygiene developed.
After getting married in 2009, she continued to pursue her dream of becoming an Oral Hygienist, and she got accepted at the University of the Western Cape for a Bachelor of Oral Hygiene. She qualified in 2012 and achieved the Clinical Excellence Award in her final year.
Lecile is very passionate about her work and loves to help patients achieve and maintain good oral health. She has beautiful twin boys and loves to spend time with her family in her spare time.

Marcé Henderson
Receptionist and Accounts
Marcé was a Dental Assistant for 8 years before becoming our Receptionist in 2015.
Due to her experience and background, she is the ideal person for understanding the patients' needs and concerns when they phone with dental problems.
Marcé is kind, approachable and thorough!

Monique Louw
Dental Assistant
Monique has been a Dental Assistant for the past 12 years! She joined our practice in June of 2019.
She loves assisting with aesthetic procedures and has a very calm and friendly nature.

Mariana Kock
Dental Assistant
Mariana has been a Dental Assistant for the past 20 years! Over the years she has worked at multiple renowned dental practices all over the Western Cape, where she gained her experience.
Mariana will always go the extra mile to make sure our patients are comfortable. Her motto has always been “Love what you do, and you never have to work a day in your life”.

Onnex Kazembe
Maintenance
Onnex was born and raised in Lilongwe, Malawi. He immigrated to South Africa in 2006, where he focused on improving his language skills while living and working in Durban.
He moved to Cape Town in 2008.
Onnex has been with the practice since 2010 and he’s earned the title of “Dr Kemp’s right-hand man”. From building, to maintenance and electronics, there’s nothing Onnex can’t do!
His friendly and helpful nature makes him an irreplaceable asset to the practice.
Amy-Lee
Practice Manager
Amy graduated as a Dental Assistant in 2008 and started working with Dr Kemp in 2009. In 2015, she moved to Johannesburg to join her then fiancé.
After giving birth to her beautiful little boy, Mason, in 2019, she decided to take a break from the dental world and carried out PA work for her husband.
Amy and her family moved back to Cape Town at the beginning of 2020 and – as promised – she came back to work for Dr Kemp, under her new title of Practice Manager.
Amy really enjoys interacting with patients and loves to spend time with her family in her spare time.
